Earthset From the Lunar Far Side

This project is a 3D recreation of the “Earthset From the Lunar Far Side” image captured during the Artemis II mission and published by NASA.

Since one of my previous artworks already explored a similar Earth and Moon composition, this piece focuses on a more faithful recreation of the original photo.

It was also created to celebrate the success of the mission, as well as International Day of Human Space Flight.

I still kept some artistic freedom by adjusting the Moon’s color and adding stars in the background, reflecting how space is often imagined rather than how it is typically captured.
